Ocean and Ecosystem Science (OES) is a compendium of scientific information and data generated by science staff working on oceanographic, environmental, ecological, and fish conservation issues along the east coast. OES features information on oceanographic monitoring and research programs that are developed by the Ocean Science Division (OSD) the Maritimes Region of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada to increase the understanding of ocean phenomena/processes in support of the management and sustainable development of marine resources. The VENUS Web site delivers data, data products, and imagery to both the public and scientific communities to facilitate ocean research. VENUS makes use of Internet and telecommunications technology to create a permanent link to monitoring instruments on the seafloor. You can access data from VENUS instruments in several ways: data plots, multimedia galleries, download data, and instrument locations and timelines.
